Our Exterior Cleaning Process
A clear process protects the property owner and the service provider. It starts with the address and surface condition, produces a written scope, and ends with a review of the agreed work and any limitations.
The Eight-Step Jacksonville Cleaning Workflow
1. Property details
Share the address, property type, surfaces, approximate area, photographs and the main result you want.
2. Service-area confirmation
The exact address and requested service are checked against current scheduling and coverage.
3. Surface and stain review
Material, paint or sealer condition, visible deterioration, stain type, height and access are considered.
4. Written scope
The estimate should identify included areas, exclusions, preparation, optional treatments, price and the performing provider.
5. Property preparation
Vehicles, furniture, pets, windows, doors, plants, fixtures, outlets, gates and hose routes are addressed.
6. Method selection
Pressure, cleaning solution, dwell time and rinse are matched to each surface instead of using one setting everywhere.
7. Cleaning and site control
The provider manages people, traffic, runoff and nearby property according to the written scope and site conditions.
8. Review
Completed areas, permanent staining, pre-existing damage and any follow-up recommendations are discussed.
What We Need From the Customer
- Accurate property address and authorization to request work
- Known leaks, damaged paint, loose materials or sensitive fixtures
- Access instructions, gate codes and water-source information
- HOA, landlord, tenant or property-manager restrictions
- Pets secured away from the work area
- Vehicles and fragile outdoor items moved as agreed
What the Written Estimate Should Answer
- Who is performing or contracting for the work?
- Which surfaces and elevations are included?
- What preparation is required?
- Are specialty stains separate?
- How are access and runoff handled?
- What conditions may remain after cleaning?
What Happens When Conditions Change?
| Condition | Practical response |
|---|---|
| Rain or unsafe weather | Scheduling may change when weather affects safety, treatment performance or runoff control. |
| Water restrictions | The current rule and property location must be checked before water-dependent work proceeds. |
| Unexpected deterioration | Work on the affected area should pause until the risk and any scope change are discussed. |
| Added surfaces | Extra work should be priced and approved rather than assumed to be included. |
| Specialty stain discovered | The provider should explain whether separate chemistry, testing or realistic limitations apply. |
Cleaning Process FAQs
Do I need to be home?
Not always. Access, water, gates, pets, alarms, vehicles, payment and the final review must be arranged in advance. Our safety and insurance information and guide to realistic cleaning results provide additional context before you request an estimate.
Why are photos useful?
They help identify surfaces, height, staining and access questions, but they do not replace an on-site condition check when one is needed.
Can the provider clean extra areas during the visit?
Only when the added scope, price, time and method are agreed. Do not assume an unlisted surface is included.
What if a stain remains?
The stain may require a specialty treatment or may be permanent. The provider should compare the result with the written scope and explain the limitation.
